I am looking for the root of 'eam' & 'eum' which I have run across in my reading. I have figured out the meaning of the words but I can't find where they come from or anything aout them. Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Re: eum & eam - just a little history please.
They're forms of the demonstrative is, ea, id. Is this what you were looking for? Or did you want more specific information on the history/formation of the word? In any case, you'll find it easier if you search using the lemma (the dictionary form).

Thanks for the reply. All I need is a starting point but that previously escaped me, until now.spiphany wrote:They're forms of the demonstrative is, ea, id. Is this what you were looking for?
Thanks again for your input.
