I taking a self taught New Testament Greek class. I'm using Bill Mounce's Basics of Biblical Greek. The biggest challenge that I'm having is learning to pronounce the words. Every body keeps telling me to use phonics but I never was able to here the differences in the sound. When I was in college my spelling was very bad so they put me in a special spelling class that used phonics. And when I finished the class my spelling was worse because I could not here the difference in the sounds. Does any body have any ideas or suggestions as to how I can over come this challenge.
