Are you learning Koine Greek, the Greek of the New Testament and most other post-classical Greek texts? Whatever your level, use this forum to discuss all things Koine, Biblical or otherwise, including grammar, textbook talk, difficult passages, and more.
I was given several dozen mp3 files containing hundreds of pronunciations for common Koine Greek words. I have placed several hundred of these words online at my site: http://www.dhq.nu/koinegreek/
. Just wanted to invite anyone who might be interested to take a look.

Interesting! I hadn't have time to go through all this. In fact I only clicked on Gamma words. The thing is, Gamma had stopped being pronounced that way even before the birth of Christ. Am I right in thinking that this follows the reconstructed pronunciation of earlier forms of Ancient Greek?
