New Group Waiting

So, I'm still waiting for my book to arrive. I expect it either this week or the following week. I haven't done much this week with my preparation. I have already made printed and laminated vocabulary cards for the words that I was unfamiliar with and carry them with me -- up to the first review section. When I get my book I'll start carrying it with me on the bus to work and back.

In the meantime, Paul B. and myself have exchanged e-mails regarding the Pharr-e list address, since he is having trouble subscribing and I can get nothing to go through to the list. Has the list been activated yet? If not, how much longer until that is accomplished? Have we gotten anywhere on the idea of a working schedule?

Thanks,
ΙΗΣΩΝ

I really appreciate the Viagra... er, the Valium.... But, I'd much prefer just to find that my book has arrived and I can get started with writing everything out and skimming through the book, feeling it in my hands and basking in its contents! That's much better than Valium for cooling my jets. I think just having the PDF has been frustrating, since I can't skim back and forth with ease. I am eager for the study, really desirous of the ability to read the Iliad already!

I hope that the group really cements together, but that would happen better if the e-mail system was functioning. We could be sending e-mails back and forth and getting to know a bit about each other and where we are in our Greek studies. Eager to scoot scoot scoot!!

I'm on Skype as jaihare, and you guys are free to contact me there, too. Any time that I'm on my computer at home (throughout the week -- but not on Shabbat), Skype is up and running.

Speaking of which, it's 2:00 and Shabbat will begin in about four and half hours. I am leaving work now to go finish cooking and straightening up. Gotta go!

Have a great weekend! :)
