I don't understand the form of the first and the last word.
The first looks like an aorist indicative 2nd person sg. with the augment dropped of, but this does not fit in the sentence very well (you took heart..). The context seems to indicate an imperative (Take heart...).

The last word, according to the vocabulary section of Pharr is a perf. 2nd sg of [face=SPIonic]ei)/dw[/face]. I thought that should then be [face=SPIonic]oi)=daj[/face].
([face=SPIonic]oi)=sqa [/face]reminds me of a middle/passive 2nd pl. of some sort)

The second word is 2nd.sg. of [face=spionic]oi)=da[/face]. You're thinking of Koine for [face=spionic]oi)=daj[/face], although Pharr's paradigm of it (sec.966) lists both.

Yep. I can see that now. I don't know why I missed it ( I think I wanted it to be an imperative)

Thank you. I just about know my Koine grammar by heart, but it still takes me a little while to find what I want in Pharr.
