is there such a thing? if not, what could be used to supply the scarce exercises presented on pharr. [they are quite effective - at least for me - but they are few in number, thereby i want something to serve as a complement]
cheers!

I have never heard of such a thing. That doesn't mean no such resources exist, but I expect they would be rare. Attic has always been the preferred dialect for both prose and verse composition. The mixed-dialect Kunstsprache of Homer would make prose exercises a bit odd.

But why? It's not as if anyone actually spoke in the dialect used by Homer

The
aoidoi did!
Not conversationally, but we've good reason to expect they could improvise in verse using that dialect.
I suspect 3us Robertus is looking for extra practice, not to start a Homeric prose movement, fun though that sounds.

Oh, OK, so there are people more crazy than I am
And the aoidoi didn't really speak Homeric, they just used it (said splitting hairs Irene).
But you shouldn't listen to me, I am prejudiced I must say
