the only way this makes sense is by putting the word "do' at the beggining of the sentence otherwise it is a statement. is this correct by looking at the punctuation?

also due to the verb being 2nd person plural is it correct to add "your homeland" or would "the fatherland" work?

right on. It is more natural English to add 'do'. Without it the only thing that would indicate that this is a question would be the rise in pitch at the end of the sentence

It makes sense both ways, but if this sentence were to be in a context it probably would be very clear that it should be 'your fatherland
