Homer-L?

Recently, browsing the internet for things Homeric, I discovered a mailing list called Homer-L, which sounded interesting. I tried twice to subscribe, following the advice of two different websites (to the same email address, but with a slightly different body text), but I received notification that my mail was undeliverable to that address.

Does anybody know if this list still exists? And, if so, how you subscribe?

I'd also love to hear of any other interesting mailing lists, or forums, or things-which-I-don't-yet-know-exist. Too: does a mailing list like that overwhelm an email inbox? or is it one email containing new postings?

Thanks. :)

I know that Latin-L and Classics-L still exist, but I have never heard of Homeric-L. The lists can be read here: http://omega.cohums.ohio-state.edu/mailing_lists/ but not their subscription pages.

These days classics-l can generate a huge amount of traffic, only some of which is related directly to the classics.
