Expressing doubt is a very tricky matter in Latin, but all your answers are possible.

1. religionis : why not sanctitatis ?
impediret : imperfect subjunctive does fit in if the sentence is mainly about viri sanctitas ; however if impedire is the most important fact in the sentence or if it is a historical fact, then the perfect subjunctive impedierit would be more appropriate.

2.3.4. terreo means « to scare » : here, use timeo or vereor .

7. interfecere = interfecerunt "they killed", so write here interficere
