word choice: "Another Perspective"

Post by Titus Marius Crispus »

Hello all,

I'm trying to figure out a good way to say "another perspective" in Greek. I'm thinking "ἄλλος/η/ο ______", but can't figure out what to put in the blank. ὄψις? ἄποψις? Or what?

What I'm really trying to say is "a different perspective", which I think in English is connotated by "another". Is there another word in Greek which would be better than ἄλλος?

Thanks,
Titus Marius Crispus

ἄποψις seems good, and I also wonder if something in the σκοπή family might not also work. On the other hand, perhaps just straight-up δόξα or γνώμη would be best — I don't have the context to judge.

ἄλλος seems fine.
