A phrase in Πρωταγόρας

...Τάχ' ἂν καὶ τοιούς λόγους ἀκούσειεν ἢ περικλέους ἢ ἄλλου τινος τῶν ἱκανῶν εἰπεῖν.(329 2-b)

In this phrase, the verb ἀκούσειεν is in which tense or voice ? And how should we translate it? Merci beaucoup. (The refrence translation in french isn't clearly enough in my manuel.....)

3rd singular aorist optative. "Perhaps he would hear even these sorts of reasons..."

Ah, the "ν" in the desinence confused me......an inexcusable mistake.....
