1. Aren't you willing to obey me, boy?

2. Tell me a story.

3. I hand the plow over to you.

4. The farmer has a big ox.

5. The young man, called Theseus, leads his comrades bravely.

6. The boys trikes the wolf with a stone.

7. The girl hands over food to her friend.

8. The slave strikes the oxen with a goad.

9. The girl approaches the gates.

10. On the next day the Athenians flee out of the labyrinth.

Greek:

1. Ἆρα ἐθέλείς μοι πείθεσθαι, ὦ παῖ;

2. Λέγέ μοι τὸν μῦθον.

3. Παρέχω τὸ άροτρόν σοι.

4. Ὁ βοῦς ὀ μέγας τῷ αὐτουργῷ ἐστιν.

5. Ὁ νεανίας, ὀνόματι θησεὺς, τοῖς ἑταίροις ἀνδρείως ἡγεῖται.

6. Ὁ παῖς τὸν λύκον λίθῳ βάλλει.

7. Ἡ παῖς τῷ τὸν σῖτον παρέχει.

8. Ὁ δοῦλος τοὺς βοῦς κέντρῳ βάλλει.

9. Ἡ παῖς ταῖς πύλαις προσχωρεί.

English:

1. Aegeus is very afraid buy obeys him.

2. The comrades are especially frightened but Theseus leads them bravely.

3. Don't fear the Minotaur, friends, but be brave!

4. When day comes, the ship arrives at the island.

5. When we are journeying to Crete, we see many islands.

Greek:

1. Ὁ Αίγεὺς μάλα φοβείται ἀλλ' αὐτῷ πείθεται.

2. Οἰ ἑταῖροι μάλα φοβούνται, ἀλλ' ὀ Θησεὺς αὐτοῖς ανδρείως ἡγεῖται.

3. Μὴ φοβεῖσθε τὸν Μινώταυρον, ὦ πίλοι, ἀλλ' ἔστε ἀνδρεῖοι.

4. Ἐπεὶ ἡ ἡμέρα γίγνεται, ἡ ναῦς εἰς τὴν νῆσον ἀφικνεῖται.

5. Ἐπεὶ πλέομεν πρὸς τὴν Κρήτην, βλέπομεν τὰς πολλὰς νήσους.
