In the vocabulary section of Pharr it says that [face=SPIonic]e)ge/nonto[/face] is 2ndaorist of [face=SPIonic]gi/gnomai[/face].<br />With [face=SPIonic]e)geno/mhn[/face] listed as the 3rd principal part I would have expected [face=SPIonic]e)ge/neto[/face].<br />Is the one a regular form and the other a variant?<br />Thank you.<br />Bert.

d'uh. Of course. I compared one grammar with another, flipping pages, but it never occurred to me that it is plural.<br />Particularly dumb considering that singular does not agree with the noun. Thanks for not laughing out loud (or maybe you did.)

Errors of number are still my own most common mistakes when I'm not paying attention. <br /><br />Also, considering lines 1-58 are the very first - and only - real Greek you've read so far, I think you're doing quite well. The occasional grammar error is to be expected until you've seen a lot more Greek in the wild.<br /><br />
