If anyone is able to explain these lines to me, I would be most grateful:
οτε οἱ παγχαλκων ανταια / γενυων ωρμαθη πλαγα
I understand that the sense is: when the blow was aimed against (him). What I am confused about is the οἱ. It can't agree with πλαγα, which I assume is the subject of ωρμαθη. How then does it fit?
