When to Learn Greek

Post by Cicero »

Hello everybody I am new here and I have a question. I am finishing up my Latin II class this semester, and I was wondering when I should take Greek. I have a fascination with the classics, and I would like to be able to read and write Greek. Thanks.

There is a general consensus that the younger you start learning a language the better, so (all other things being equal) now would indeed be a good idea. While the help you get from having Latin first can be overstated, it certainly does help to have encountered a language where things like cases are key.

And of course if you get stuck you can post questions here
