Materials for grammar review

Postby Veteropinguis » Thu Feb 14, 2013 10:11 pm

Hi all,

I'm in my second semester of Intermediate Greek. I used Chase and Phillips last year- took extensive notes, but they've gone missing. I'm finding that Herodotus is slow going.

Does anyone know of a site with printable material- either for reference or review? I would benefit greatly from having a quick way to check verb and noun paradigms. I've been working on making my own, but that takes rather a lot of time which I don't currently have.

I found this site, which is pretty good except that the words have no accents: http://abacus.bates.edu/~hwalker/Grammar/gramrev.html

Online review material is fine as well; I remember my professor last semester showed us some sites with flashcard drills, but I don't remember the URLs and have lost wherever I recorded them.

.

The most comprehensive site I know of is http://socrates.berkeley.edu/~ancgreek/ ... s4BOM.html

You will probably have to play around with it if you want get something that will look nice printed though.

This online material for a course delivered by Prof. Pozzi at Houston university
has been a major part of my review back in '08. I remember corresponding with her
about several lines from Plato's Apology and questioning my teacher's reading
of a particle here and there. She was more than happy to answer my queries.
It's unfortunate they no longer teach this course over there.
Nate.
