I would recommend Athenaze. The ongoing story is not ideal for children. It is, however, more suited to them than any of the alternatives I know of.

I probably should give at least some reason in case you have different criteria.

The ongoing story has two children which younger readers may be able to identify.
There are no chunks of Plato which I would imagine to be unappealing to children.

It does do a better job of appealing to boys than girls though.
