accent in infinitive "diakatharai"

Postby arkadi » Tue Jun 28, 2005 2:39 pm

Hi, Everybody:
I've come across the infinitive "diakatharai" with acute (7-th century A.D. text). I checked in TLG, and found some random examples with circumflex, but none with the acute.
Is the variant with the acute grammatically possible, or is it definitely a typo?
Many thanks in advance.

I can check the PG text if you provide the reference.

Oups. Now, as I checked it myself, I realized that I the typo is in my version only (which I downloaded from the Web); the PG text has circumflex.
My apologies.
