all the uses of genitive

hi all -<br />this forum seems to be new so i hope there's someone around to answer this...<br /><br />I get EXTREMELY :'( confused with all the different uses of the genitive case.<br /><br />I use the JACT textbook, which has many good examples, but there always seem to be more uses of the genitive than are covered in my textbook.<br /><br />does anyone know of good resources that cover all of the uses of the genitive?<br /><br />thanks - didwe<br /><br />

I find knowing the two main uses of the Genitive viz. The<br />Possessive and Partitive suffice in most contexts, however if you are interested in a more detailed short form list then try Athenaze II.

For a good discussion of NT Greek's use of the genitive try Wallace's book. I think it's called Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics, or something like that.
