quick help

Post by ThomasGR »

I'll like a translation into old Greek of the following phrase:

"Empty Coppery Thoughts"

My try:

καιναι χαλκιναι ιδεαι

I know Idea isn't correct for Thought, but could it be correct?

I recognize my mistake with "kainai", should be "kenai", but do not like "fronhmata". It sounds more like "morale", "opinion". Better I'll use Idea, and "xalkea", doesn't smell like "fake"? Isn't "xalkhnai" better?

I want to use it as a title for a forum, it may help it look sophisticated lol
So I try to keep it short and precise. Perhaps you can propose another short quote from anscient Greek?
