I have a question about a word I am not familar with in Greek. It is found at the end of a "Hail Mary" in Greek. It is "MAS."

TWRA TOU THANATOU MAS, AMHN.

What does it mean?

It's the possessive pronoun "our", so that the line reads (I think) "at the hour of our death, Amen."

Say, would you mind posting the full text, or posting a URL to a site that includes it? I'm curious to see some everyday prayers in Greek.

Thanks.

After a brief search I found these links. But the text of the Hail Mary seems to be different from the one you were quoting.

Democritus,

Why are there all those little boxes between all the Greek letters on that site you gave?

It's probably a font issue, maybe that site specifies a font that you don't happen to have on your PC. I'm no expert in fonts, so I can't try to help. (I would make things worse, heh.)
