Greek Readings for Review Answer Key

Postby TannerS » Wed Jul 13, 2011 1:42 pm

I began to learn Greek from Kaegi's Greek Grammar at the beginning of the summer. Having familiarized myself with the paradigms and the fundamental syntax, I am now working through Greek Readings for Review: First Lessons in Greek by Kaegi and Kleist.

Each exercise is divided into sections "A" and "B". The former is an exercise in reading Greek sentences, and the latter is an exercise in translating from English to Greek. I hesitate to do part "B" because I have no teacher to correct me. As far as I can tell, Greek Readings for Review has no corresponding teacher's edition, but does anyone know if there exists an answer key?

I've got my doubts an answer key exists. If it did, it may have had the instruction that the Bradley's Arnold key had, which amounted to destroy when you no longer need.

Anecdotally, I truly doubt its existence. I worked for Bolchazy-Carducci for several years. The boss never once asked about the answer key for this book. Not once, and he often would ask about such things (parsed classics, answer key to Bradley's Arnold, all sorts of other obscure texts). Often. Third volume of Kaegi/Kleist? Yes. Several times. Don't worry, that probably won't see the light of day either.

But here is a link to what Google has online for Adolf Kaegi:
