Sidgewick's book for what type of Greek?

Post by Ambrose »

The First Greek Writer teaches what it calls "Greek," but I thought that there were lots of forms of Greek given it's vast dialectical spectrum. Does this book teach Homeric, Attic, Koine, etc...? Which one is it?

Thanks a lot.

Generally speaking, if there isn't any specification, assume it is Attic Greek. (Although in some cases it will be Koinê). In this case it is Attic.
