Diogenes Highlight-All option possible?

Postby LSorenson » Thu Jul 30, 2009 12:12 pm

There's really no place for a tech question on Textkit. This applies to both Latin and Greek users who use the Diogenes broswer to look up words in lexicons or read texts from TLC/Duke/PHI, etc.

I've been trying to see if I can get the Find toolbar / Highlight All features to show in Diogenes as they work in my Firefox browser. It's my understanding Diogenes uses XulRunner to run Mozilla/Gecko. Mozilla/Gecko is the base code for both Diogenes and Firefox. I had asked Peter Heslin, the author of Diogenes a while back - he said he was not sure how to do it as many of the config options are cryptic. I think getting the feature to show is a simple config file setting.

Another feature I would like to see is to have a right-click menu edit-copy over selected text (Control+"C" works).

Any ideas?
