Wheelock Chap 21 to 30 Key comments

Post by wm33 »

After a long summer break during which time I looked (in vain) for Elvis in Tennessee I have got back down to Wheelock chaps 21 to 30 and have the following comments on the key for review please.

Chap 25
P&R
1 Add "always" before thinks?

3 Typo: replace "fir's" by "fire's"?

Death of Laocoon

"Neither can he defend himself from his wounds nor flee,..."
can "his" be deleted?

Chap 26
SA
1 Add "rather" before talkative?

6 Change "... giver himself makes." to "...giver himself makes dear (to himself)."?

Chap 27

Thanks a lot, Tully

At start, replace "Remus'" by "Romulus'"?

Chap 29
SA
10 Change "..said to have that..." to "...said to have existed that..."?

Hoping to cover the last 10 chapters before the end of the year.

Valete amici,

All of those suggestions have caused the key to be updated. I don't know when the next version will be available. Good luck with those last chapters, the dreaded subjunctive... :D
