Hello all, I have recently (within the last month) started my Latin adventure. In that time I have already learned more than I ever expected to in such a short period of time. After completing several simple Latin introduction courses I found on the internet (most of which are located ->
http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/explore/latin.htm ) I stumbled upon Textkit. Since than I have dove into D'Ooge and have progressed to lesson 6 so far. It has been clear sailing up to this point and I have not run into any problems yet. But I did wish to introduce myself and meet you all. I hope to be here for a while ha

Salve CodyKay,
Congratulations on your work with D'Ooge. Things will start to get more exciting as you progress! Once Paul's GTTS site is up and running again, you may wish to request access to this. An earlier D'Ooge group has uploaded almost 2/3 of the lessons. It's a great tool for group learning.
Vale,
Timotheus

What exactly is Paul's GTTS ? And who do they expect to have it up and running again. Any assistance / learning tools for D'Ooges would be greatly appreciated

Hi CodyKay,
I found this under a post from a certain 'Paul':
http://www.greekgeek.org
Under 'Study Groups', I found this:
Most of these groups use my Guided Text Study System study group software. [So it's GTSS, not GTTS ... ]
If you are interested in learning more about how GTSS works, please see "this not yet finished documentation" http://www.greekgeek.org/gtss.pdf. This document will also tell you how to login to GTSS as a 'guest'
I confess I couldn't work out how to login as a guest. If you can, let me know! Seemingly you must be assigned a userID and password, but how that happens is beyond me.
No D'Ooge group listed, by the way.
Cheers,
Int

Since I don't know how to edit a post that has already been sent off, I hasten to add that the "xxx"s at the end of my last post do not represent basia.
