Lain Pronounciation

Post by Hamzanama »

So I read the first part of D'Ooge's book, and it tells about the alphabets and the sounds is there any site or place where you can hear the individual sounds or a jingle like a means aa and b is bee so something like this? I know it is written but I rather hear someone so if anyone has any place where I can look up these sounds to simple words, like in English there are a lot of dictionaries that offer pronunciations.
Thank you most sincerely,
H.

I am a beginner myself so I cannot vouch for the quality, but you might want to check out the Wheelock site introduction on pronunciation:

D'Ooge is also available as an Audio Book - read in restored classical pronunciation.
You can find it at http://latinum.org.uk
I run http://latinum.org.uk which provides the Adler Audio Latin Course, other audio materials, and additional free materials on YouTube.
