The original text:"Ii pueri cum Cornelia in oppido Roma, claro Italiae oppido,habitabant..."
the translation given :"These boys lived with Cornelia in the town of Rome,THE MOST FAMOUS TOWN of Italy"
I am wondering where the superlative form has come in,but according to me the superlative for "clarus,-a,-um"would be "clarissimus,-a,-um",assuming I am correct.
What do you think, O CARI AMICI?
