locke = you cant be sure that something is next to you

locke + existentialism = if it was next to you it probably no matter
what unless you temporarily loose your location and the distance
change is so great that your environment cannot be identified. if
a path is designated in a radical alteration of location and the object
stayed behind it is most likely still with you. but you cannot be
certain of this without a set path of direction
