νυν μεν ουν ευδιαν εχομεν. μετα δε τινας ημερας, νιφαδα προσδοκωμεν.
I am writing in Ancient Greek not because I know Greek well, but because I hope that it will improve my fluency in reading. I got the idea for this from Adrianus over on the Latin forum here at Textkit.

      I am writing in Ancient Greek not because I know Greek well, but because I hope that it will improve my fluency in reading. I got the idea for this from Adrianus over on the Latin forum here at Textkit.

      λαμπρὸς νῦν ἐστιν ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ μενεῖ οὕτως κατὰ τοὺς σοφούς τοὺς δοκοῦντας σοφοὺς εἶναι, μὴ ὄντας.

      ἔβλεψα διὰ θυρίδος καὶ εἶδον βρέχοντα. ἔβλεψα διὰ θυρίδος και εἶδον τὸν ἥλιον λαμποντα. ἔβλεψα διὰ θυρίδος καὶ εἶδον τὸν οὐρανόν συννεφουντα. ἔβλεψα διὰ θυρίδος καὶ εἶδον πάλιν βρέχοντα. οὕτως ἦν τήμερον.
