χαιρε ω Ναθαν. πως εχεις σημερον;
τουτο εστιν το "touch, feel the book." I should have said απτου του βιβλιου because απτω in the middle takes the genitive. επειτε ερωτω αυτον: "Αρα το βιβλιον μαλακον;" "Is the book soft?" Another thing I do wrong, not exactly a mistake, is to say It's much more common to use the article with ουτος, thus, αγαπω τουτο το βιβλιον. Also I got the stress wrong in το ονομα μου Μαρκος. Should be OnoMA mou.
It is amazing how you just never notice these basic mistakes until you make them. If you see anything else odd, let me know.
I am writing in Ancient Greek not because I know Greek well, but because I hope that it will improve my fluency in reading. I got the idea for this from Adrianus over on the Latin forum here at Textkit.
