* οὐκ ἔχομεν τα δενδρα τα deciduous.

φευ! τὴν δύναμίν οὐκ ἔχω διά θερμασίαν. ἡ υγρασία ἐστίν εἴκοσι-και-πέντε. τριάκοντα (Κατα Κελσιος) ἐστίν ἡ θερμασία.

σήμερον ἐβάδιζον ἔγωγε παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν. εἶδον δὲ πολλὰ φύλλα.

τὰ δὲ φύλλα ἐκινεῖτο ὑπὸ τοῦ ἀνέμου.

τὰ φύλλα κινούμενα ὑπὸ τοῦ τῆς κόρης πνεύματος.

ἐχάρην δὲ ἰδὼν τὰ φύλλα κινηθέντα ὑπὸ τοῦ ἀνέμου! φύλλα μὲν εἶδον, φῦλα δ' οὔ.

I am writing in Ancient Greek not because I know Greek well, but because I hope that it will improve my fluency in reading. I got the idea for this from Adrianus over on the Latin forum here at Textkit.

τήμερον ὁ ἥλιος ἔλαμπε. ὁ οὐρανὸς ἤν κύανος καὶ αἱ νεφέλαι ἤν μικραὶ καὶ λευκαί – αἱ «νεφέλαι» ποιηθεῖσαι μηχανῇ πετομένῃ μειζων ἤν

τὰ φύλλα ἐδονήθη λίαν ὑπο τῶν ἀνέμων ού ὀλίγον χρόνον. ἴσως δία ὅλης ἡμέρας τὰ φύλλα εδονεῖτο ἀνέμοις. ἐκείνα γε ἐκινεῖτο ἐνθάδε και εκεῖ.

σήμερον πνέουσιν οἱ ἄνεμοι. διὰ τοῦτο, πίπτει τὰ φύλλα ἐκ τῶν δένδρων κινούμενα ὑπὸ τοῦ κινοῦντος ἀνέμου. τὰ φύλλα ὄντα δ' ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, κινοῦσι ἔτι οἱ ἄνεμοι. δονεῖται οὖν τὰ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς φύλλα ἔτι κινούμενα ὑπὸ τοῦ ἀνένου.
