Italian Grammar For The Beginner

I intend to learn Greek (JWW) within the next couple of years at least up to intermediate level; however I think myself presently to be incapable of doing thus. For, accompanied by Latin, it would be too intense.
I want to learn Italian this year also. Knows anyone, of a beginners Italian Grammar (accompanied by exercises and vocabulary).
I find Dr. Benjamin L. D'Ooge's grammar so simple, so compact with its welcome want of ...

Hi there

Bon soir.

I, Ansgar, am neophytically joining this forum today with great expecations. I hit on this source while searching for some web sites on "classical" Greek, which I have set my mind to re-learn after a break of, I believe, 21 years ("ante Keesa nata," I am afraid) and only two years of high school exposure.

I found browsing the forum encouraging in a hard-to-determine manner; it must have been the exuberance ...

Salvete! Novus homo sum!

Hi my friends! My name is Paul Haverstock and I am so excited to have found this website! I won't go off on how cool this kind of resource is, except to say that I've never seen such an awesome classics website.
I am a student at the University of Kansas, beginning my Sophomore year in a week. My major is classical languages; I'm so excited about becoming well versed, and Deus-volens, fluent in Latin ...

Pardon my senility!

I blame it for why I have not been introduced.

Greek I am learning to decipher that famous passage of Homer concerning names of places and how many men and ships they had and too many names of generals to remember afterwards. A passage so tedious and yet a part of our great literature surely must hold some secret!

You who know me from the Academy, you also know of my relationship with ...

nearing 100,000! - how about an online contest?

For me 100,000 downloads is a nice and noteworthy benchmark and I'm thinking some sort of 'celebration' event is in order.

I would like to write a register to win contest. It'll be free to enter (with a newsletter subscription of course!) and the winner will receive free books that we'll mail to them - we'll ship world-wide.

For Textkit, the contest should serve as an interesting way to bring attention to ...

Forum Romanum

http://www.forumromanum.org/index2.html

Excellent site. They're building up a library of all literature in Latin down to the 18th century, and have transcripts of The Private Lives of the Romans, Outlines of Roman History, and A Grammar of Oscan and Umbrian. They also have their own Latin Language Resources section, and a genealogy of the Roman gods and goddesses.

A belated introduction of myself.

Hi, I hadn't greeted any of you before I simply began writing irritating post after irritating post; I am David Walker. It is nice meeting all of you. I hope that the inordinate amount of time that I anticpate I will be spending here will be justifiable in some wise. I hope we, all of us sharing the same (or similar) esoteric pursuits, get along famously.
